My Experience

Hi, I'm Kimberly, a passionate educator dedicated to helping children thrive, especially those who learn differently. A California native now living in Idaho, I bring over a decade of full-time teaching experience in both classroom and one-on-one settings, working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade across diverse school environments.

My specialty and passion lie in supporting neurodiverse learners. Through years of experience and close collaboration with families and schools, I’ve developed deep insight into how to support students with learning differences, including ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, executive function challenges, and autism spectrum profiles. I understand that learning is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. With personalized strategies, every child can build confidence, strengthen independence, and rediscover the joy of learning.

My Philosophy

My philosophy is rooted in unconditional positive regard and a commitment to progress over perfection. I believe every child deserves to feel valued, capable, and accepted exactly as they are. By focusing on what’s going right, I help students build confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.

Children learn best in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment, one where they feel safe to take risks, embrace challenges, and grow. Through Kimberly Educates, I blend compassion with evidence-based strategies to nurture not only academic skills, but also creativity, resilience, real-world learning, and a lifelong growth mindset.
